Paragon Global Nonprofit Registry
A global reference tool for identifying nonprofit organizations by region and focus area that have been subject to prior screening or review.
Paragon maintains a global registry of more than 4,000 nonprofit organizations identified through a combination of Paragon’s advisory and due diligence work and recognized international sources. Some organizations in the registry have undergone varying levels of vetting, screening, and review in the course of Paragon’s engagements, while others are included based on their recognition by established international institutions. Registry entries are classified by thematic area and geography, enabling users to identify organizations within specific programmatic and regional contexts. Detailed information regarding prior screening or documentation, including whether an organization has completed basic screening, watchlist checks, or full Equivalency Determination and Expenditure Responsibility reviews (for U.S. clients), is available from Paragon upon request.
The registry allows funders and prospective clients to identify organizations that have previously been subject to screening, review, or institutional recognition, supporting more efficient and informed vetting processes. Inclusion in the registry does not, by itself, constitute a compliant grantmaking opportunity or an endorsement by Paragon. Due diligence requirements vary by jurisdiction, and applicable standards for funders in the European Union, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and Australia may differ materially.
Paragon continually updates and expands the registry as new organizations are reviewed, additional documentation is incorporated, and existing entries are reassessed in light of evolving risk and regulatory considerations. Clients may also request first-time reviews for organizations not yet listed. Reflecting Paragon’s long-standing engagement with nonprofit organizations and charitable institutions worldwide, the registry serves as a maintained reference resource for identifying potential partners and gaining contextual insight into nonprofits operating across diverse regions and issue areas.
Using the Registry
The Paragon Global Nonprofit Registry is designed to help funders and advisors identify nonprofit organizations by region and focus area.
If an organization of interest appears in the registry, you may inquire directly through this platform to understand what information may already exist, whether prior screening may have been completed, and to express interest in potential follow-on work in connection with that organization. Common areas of interest include Rapid Validation & Screening or Nonprofit Validation at an early stage, as well as more in-depth review through Integrity Review, Integrity Due Diligence or, where applicable for U.S. grantmakers, Equivalency Determination or Expenditure Responsibility. Inquiries submitted here are tied to the selected organization record. If an organization of interest does not appear in the registry, grantmakers may reach out through Paragon’s contact form to inquire about potential review or validation.
